Keep these words in mind when you stock up on bullion,land,real-estate etc.Always spend a while thinking how you will liquidate the assets you propose to purchase and at what price.Killings are made when you buy not so much when you sell.
Don’t forget the speed with which gold prices collapsed in April this year.At the beginning of the month it was round 30,000 rupees per 10 grams and by 15 April it had dropped to Rs 26,450 per 10 grams.
Look at some ancient history below:
If you had bought gold in 1980-81,how happy would have been in 1986?Five years can seem a pretty long time. And it took 15 years for the price to double,a less than 5%return for 14-15 years.
Great reminder Thanks
You’re welcome!
