Lakshmi chanchala hoti hai (The goddess of wealth is very curious).Lakshmi ko kabhie band karke mat rakho, lakhshmi rooth jati hai (Money should always be in circulation). Lakshmi jayegi, phir ayegi, phir jayegi…darwaza khula rakho, usko jaane do. Aaj jayegi to kal ghum fir ke tumhare hi god mein aayegi.

Shri means wealth.It is also a word used to show respect.Yantra means instrument.
The 
Shri Yantra is formed by nine interlocking triangles that surround and radiate out from a central point. Together the nine triangles are interlaced in such a way as to form 43 smaller triangles.
The Shri Yantra is considered to be very powerful and is believed to be the yantra of Goddess Mahalakshmi.Mahalakshmi is the Indian Goddess of wealth,prosperity and good fortune.She is believed to manifest herself in the place where this yantra is kept and worshipped.As a result all wishes come true and one’s life is changed for the better.This Yantra is believed to be helpful in getting rid of debt.
Many temples in India, including the Tirupati Temple,the richest one in India, are constructed on the basis of this sacred geometry.

Lakshmi is the Hindu Goddess of Good Fortune.Shri is a term commonly used to represent Goddess Lakshmi.In the Hindu Pantheon Goddess Lakshmi is the consort of Lord Vishnu-The Preserver.Goddess Lakshmi is often shown bestowing gold coins symbolic of prosperity and flanked by elephants signifying her royal power. Sometimes she has an owl as her vahana. To understand the symbology consider this: In Sanskrit, Uluka means owl. Uluka is also one of the names of lndra, the King of Gods, personifying wealth, power and glory.
Goddess Lakshmi believed to be very fond of the lotus–a symbol of enlightenment, and her many epithets are connected to the flower.Eg.Padma: lotus dweller,Kamala: lotus dweller, Padmapriya: One who likes lotuses ,Padmamukhi: One whose face is as beautiful as a lotus, Padmakshi: One whose eyes are as beautiful as a lotus ,Padmahasta: One who holds a lotus ,Padmasundari: One who is as beautiful as a lotus ,Vishnupriya: One who is the beloved of Vishnu , Ulkavahini: One who rides an owl .
