Anti-Paparazzi Shield

Roman Abramovich’s $1.2B super yacht, Eclipse, is equipped with an anti-paparazzi shield in the form of infrared light lasers that sweep the surroundings. When they detect a CCD, they shine a light right at the digital camera to prevent the photograph.
A similar technology,an anti-paparazzi clutch, developed by Adam Harvey , detects the flash of a camera and responds with a bright flash of its own, cloaking the intended target in a blob of white light.
Now if only someone could find some way to combat manual cameras too.
Today cameras are ubiquitous,And you don’t have to be a celebrity to be followed by a camera.Yesterday I went to a book exhibition and found a bunch of press photographers there. I found it really intrusive to be followed by lensemen and their cameras,as I browsed the book selection. I can understand that business-people want free publicity and an increase in sales but who said that customers have to pay the price?
Clever devices. I dislike intrusive media too.
