In my business I find I am challenged to go beyond my comfort zone often.
I suppose that in a growing business a person has always go to be doing something or the other for the first time in life.I first came across the idea of going beyond one’s comfort zone while chatting with a French-Algerian executive from Renault who was very influenced by the practices of Carlos Ghosn. These people took the concept of challenging themselves very seriously and took up learning the Japanese language and practicing Japanese martial arts etc. as a way of challenging themselves to go beyond their comfort zones.
I was pretty impressed by the idea and decided to do or try out something new everyday.Every day before I sleep I check I have done or experienced something new. After all as babies I guess we tried the maximum number of new things and grew fastest.
