I am happy to accept the Versatile Blogger Award from Ingrid of Live Laugh Rv.Thank you Ingrid!
I have just recently started following Ingrid’s blog and am finding it fun reading her posts.Somewhere inside I go hmmm …… If I live a life like her’s I would have accomplished so much….Do go ahead and check out her blog and don’t forget to read the About us page.
Ingrid here are 7 things about me.We do seem to have a lot in common.
1.Like you I am a dedicated shopper.I can spend hours hunting for bargains and great deals at malls and bazzars. My favourite mall till date is the Ibn Battuta mall.
2.I too love my coffee. My favourite is a kodi kapi made of well roasted Arabica peaberries. My day starts with coffee.
3.I too love flowers. My favourite are lilies and orchids.I love growing them and sell cut flowers for a living.

Congradulations on your award and thank you so much for nominating Grandmother Musings! I am honored. Jamie 🙂
Thank you very much!!!!!!!! 🙂
You’re welcome.
Thanks so much for your kind words. Totally agree, must start the day with my coffee 🙂
Any preferences?
We found this amazing coffee in Crested Butte. A Columbian / Etheopian blend. Didn’t realize Etheopia grew coffee. The coffee house roasts the beans locally in Crested Butte. Hubby doesn’t usually drink coffee, but he did there. camp4coffee.com
Coffee originated in Ethiopia and the Arabs were key to spreading the produce around the world. The 17th century Sufi saint Baba Budan is credited with bringing back coffee beans to India from a trip to Mecca and introducing coffee to Indians.
Congratulations! I enjoyed “getting to know you” through your 7 things. We have a lot in common… coffee, water, historical novels, flowers, shopping and an enjoyment of the outdoors. We only differ on cats. I love them, but I am extremely allergic. So I compromise with a non-allergenic dog who thinks she’s a cat. 🙂
sharechair I had a dog too,an Alsatian named Zeus.I like both dogs and cats but cats adapt better to living in a flat.
I love reading your posts to get to know technology better.I started using a computer on and off in college and got a laptop 5 years ago.Now I am conversant enough with computers, tablets and smart phones but not really cued into the newest/ coolest thing…..and your posts, especially those on games helps me connect with younger people.
What sort of coffee do you like?
What are you reading now?
I am so happy that you find my blog helpful! I don’t know if I’ll be able to supply the “newest and coolest”, but I try to keep up and share what I learn. 🙂 For coffee I use one of those brew-by-the-cup machines, so I can pop in a flavored coffee or a regular or a decaf whenever the mood strikes. Books … I have a Goodreads widget on my blog that lists all the books I’ve read over the last few years. Currently I am reading “The Dressmaker” about a trial after the sinking of the Titanic. So far, so good. How about you?
Currently I am reading some light stuff.I am working my way through a stack of Carole Mortimer romances.I am reading the 4th of over 100 titles’
