About Wealthymatters

The description of wealthymatters.com is “For Whom Wealth Matters”, which is all about the practical wisdom of money. In this modern world money has become vital to survive, but how many of us have practical wisdom for handling money? The About section of this blog is as follows:

“Hello! Welcome to my blog “wealthymatters”. I define wealth as having the means to afford a lifestyle of one’s personal choice without having to actively work at a job to get the cash to do so.Defined as such,I find wealth and wealth building fascinating .I like the idea of having the freedom to not have to be at someone else’s beck and call, to not have to work on someone else’s schedule and to not have to subsume my priorities to someone else’s priorities.

Given my fascination , I spend a lot of time reading up , thinking about and working at wealth building. In the course of these activities I come across a lot of fascinating titbits , insights and nifty tools I hope to record in “wealthymatters”. I hope my scrapbooking helps you on your way to becoming wealthy.”

1. The blog is full of practical wisdom that can be used in life by the reader.

The blogger is from India, an emerging economic superpower (BRIC nation: Brazil, Russia, India, China), and brings to the table a new set of insights. There are three ways this blog benefits the reader in practical ways: those involved in community projects; those that are involved in business; and most importantly encouraging the individual to look to ethical wealth making.

2. The blog is inspirational, that makes me go “wow”.

This blog has opened my eyes to what should be obvious. How many businesses or decision makers make choices that takes into account how their actions will impact future generations? There was some great quotes, such as this Bill Gates quote, and a second one.

3. The blog and its writing is well presented in a creative way.

In the form of articles and quotes, backed by images, this blog offers variety. Examples of successful business people are used like Bill Gates and Henry Ford to reinforce points made.

4. The blog is updated on a regular basis.

This is one of the most active blogs I have encountered, so expect anything up to four blog posts a day.

5. The blog is developing a close relationship with its readers.

They visit many blogs looking for practical wisdom that is connected to wealth; they follow closely blogs that they are interested in, commenting and reading many blogs each day. All good blogs have an ongoing conversation with their reader, and this blog is the same, they reply to most comments to their blog.

Receiving an award is always nice, but receiving one from a person whose thoughts and writing you admire is doubly nice.I have always read The Liberated Way with pleasure.I like the quiet unhurried pace of the blog, the contemplative nature of its writer and the references to nature and history.I also like the way in which Alex packs so much in so few words; Something I too would love to do.Following is one of my favourite posts from the Liberated Way.Read and Enjoy!I heartily recommend this blog to you.

Being the change in the world
Posted by Alex Jones on July 9, 2012
We change the world by following our own purpose.

British robin singing in Colchester.
I was taking photographs in Colchester Castle Park yesterday, and came across a robin singing.  This robin was expressing its purpose of singing either to mark out its territory or to attract a mate.  Just being there and singing this robin gave me pleasure, its activity impacting me.
Just by following our dreams, hopes and goals we influence others and change the world.  We become like a rock thrown in the pool, the ripples of our actions echoing into eternity.
Often it is wrongly considered that we have to change the world, or others, by forcing our will upon them.  Like the robin we have a purpose of living, growing and creating, so that in just doing this we make the positive changes in the world anyway.

An  award gains in prestige based on the quality of its recipients.I am truly flattered to be in such august company.I heartily recommend the blogs of the previous recipients of the Dandelion Award:
