I think Whitney Tilson is also a great lecturer. He has a real personal interest in education and maybe for this reason, it makes him a really good teacher — I understand that he also does some lecturing on an MBA course or other. Here he is at the value investing Congress in 2008 giving an overview of what is value investing
(the first 5 min is introductory stuff; FF for the rest which is really interesting). It’s great insight into the Warren Buffett/ Charlie Munger School of investing
Yes Whitney Tilson is a good lecturer.I think it must help having 2 parents who are educators and being an A student. His notes are are real find. They bring together a lot of important stuff I have read in a lot of places.Alas I have always been more of a reader than writer. On my own I would never have put together these notes.I think Whitney Tilson will help me get more organized. Thanks for introducing me to his works.
As a side note, I was lucky enough to discover Prem Watsa through this presentation. Thanks again.
