Clothes Sizes

These days lots of foreign clothes brands have a presence in India.But there is still a large tilt towards luxury clothes.Even foreign high street and budget brands try to position themselves as luxury and have prices to match.

Abroad there are many more mid-range and budget clothes brands we know nothing about,unless we have been abroad.The clothes might be made in India ,Bangladesh etc,but we have never seen them in the local shops.The quality of the fabric,design,cut and finish are superior to those of even high-end Indian brands.So it makes sense to buy clothes abroad if we can.Also come places  have  favourable tax regimes that makes clothes cheaper than similar ones in India.

Having friends and relations abroad purchase a few outfits is a long established Indian tradition.The devil is just to ensure that the clothes fit.Previously this was always a dicey thing,unless you wanted everything to be baggy or stretchable.But with the globalization of the last 2 decades,there’s been a standardization of clothes sizes.So now you can get better fits,so long as you know the right international sizes.
