Sanity In The Face of Promises

Its impossible to be an investor or be in business without buying into promises to pay or deliver in future.And its impossible not to make the occasional mistake and lose the whole or part of your money or ultimately pay more than you bargained for,put in more time and effort,have to deal with delays, litigation etc.

The best way to deal with these situations is to decide that that’s all the money,help or assistance in any way, you are going to provide at that stage in time.To be pressured into giving more is to get caught up more badly in a less than ideal situation.In the face of all the sweet talk I like to recall these words:
